5 Favourite Podcasts
I am a huge fan of podcasts. It’s like being part of an intimate conversation, learning something new or getting one to one training from experts. Did I mention this is all free?! The podcast industry is rapidly growing round the world and as of June 2018, Apple Podcasts had 525,000 shows and over 18.5 million episodes to listen to. Thats a lot of podcasts!
If you don’t already listen to podcasts what are you waiting for! There will be something for you. Apple Podcasts has sixteen categories to choose from including Arts, business, health and technology. Over 5 million people listen to podcasts in the UK averaging 3-5 podcast episodes per week. Personally I like to listen to podcasts that inspire me, some parenting tips, news and help me learn tips to live better.
I listen to podcasts mostly when I’m doing something passive such as driving, cleaning the house or even working out! Apparently most people listen while driving.
So if you’re thinking of starting to listen to podcasts or you’re looking for something new to listen to I’ve got you covered. Here are my top 5 podcasts and a couple favourite episodes of each.
Part of my Monday routine is listening to the latest episode of Good To Be Home. I absolutely adore this podcast. It’s hosted by Mika and Russ Perry and they cover marriage, parenting, entrepreneurship all through a realistic lens. I find their content really helpful and keeps me on track with my goals.

I love this one! Host Hillary Kerr - cofounder of WhoWhatWear and MyDomaine- has the best voice and such a great interview style. It’s all about women, their career journeys and what happens when they embark on their second life. Every episode is inspiring, honest and a detailed discussion of what lead these women to pivot and start a new career. It is now on my bucket list to be interviewed for this podcast!

Passionate motivation from a self-made multi millionaire, Ed is a guy who is the real deal. He’s a coach to elite athletes and performers and is sharing his practices with the world. His instagram account is one of the fastest growing ever. I love his straight talking sage advice and the power his words carry.
